The tech/commander system is kind of non-consequential and boring, why not make the games more dynamic by actually adding some tech with real choices? The commanders are sort of taking the role of tech atm, but they are quite frankly boring and a rehash of coh2 (meaning there are a couple of viable meta picks).I'm sure they could have come up with something more exciting by now. The capture-and-hold game mode was maybe great 10 years ago (when people were still enjoying TDM as an FPS mode), but it feels kind of static and stale now.Here's what I feel they could have improved/refreshed gameplay wise: Yeah, I wish they'd overhauled some of the mechanics tbh.
